Super Simple Hot Smoked Salmon Salad

  • 1 Saucepan
  • 1 Frying pan
  • 1 Bowl


  • 1/2 courgette
  • 6 small/new potatoes
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 8 cherry tomatoes
  • 80 gr lettuce leaves (we use lambs lettuce)
  • 1 filet hot smoked salmon Dutch: warmgerookte zalm


  • 3 tbsp greek yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp creme fraîche
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 10 gr dill
  • 1/4 juice of a lemon


  • Place the saucepan on the hob with boiling water
  • Now we cut up the vegetables: half the potatoes, half the tomatoes and quarter the courgette. Also chop up the dill. Set aside.
    1/2 courgette, 6 small/new potatoes, 8 cherry tomatoes


  • Now in a seperate bowl: add the creme fraiche, the greek yoghurt, olive oil, lemon juice and salt & pepper and mix. Now stir through most of the dill.
    3 tbsp greek yoghurt, 1 tbsp creme fraîche, 1 tbsp olive oil, 1/4 juice of a lemon, 10 gr dill

Cooking part

  • Add the potatoes to the pan with boiling water. Boil for around 8-12 minutes (depending on the size of the potatoes). During the last 3-4 minutes, add the frozen peas to this same pan.

  • Place a frying pan over medium heat with a drizzle of olive oil. Once hot, add the courgette and fry until lightly brown (make sure you fry it on both sides)

  • Don't forget those peas!

  • Divide the lettuce leaves over the 2 bowls. Now flake and divide the hot smoked salmon as well. Add all the vegetables and finally the dressing as well.
