Welcome to the
THE SPOONIES COMMUNITY MEMBERSHIP
An online community for women with chronic illness & pain – a safe space to connect, heal & thrive. You’re not alone anymore.
Do you feel stuck in a body that keeps betraying you?
And even worse, like nobody around you really understands what you’re going through? That’s exactly why this community exists.

I was you once.
Waking up every morning in an extreme amount of pain.
No energy.
Brain fog.
Thoughts like: “I wish I could do something fun. But I’m in too much pain to even get out of bed”.
Meanwhile, I was watching my friends float through life Promotions. Families. Travelling.
And then the comments….:
“I’m also tired after a busy day of work”.
“I know exactly how you feel…..”
OUCH.
It was lonely. It was exhausting. And yet, deep down, there was this tiny shimmer of trust. A whisper that said: “It doesn’t have to stay this way.“
I started to listen to that whisper and then my whole life changed. I connected with others with chronic illness and for the first time finally felt seen, heard & understood.
I became fiercer in setting & communicating boundaries. I grew confidence. I became more independent.
I went through a deep transformation process.
All of this resulted in a calmer mind and less pain. And little by little, I found energy again to enjoy moments with loved ones, to do things I love, and yes, even to take small steps back into work.
And that’s why I created The Spoonies Community, so you don’t have to go through this alone like I did.
A community where you can share your story without judgment. Where you can ask the questions you’ve been too afraid to voice out loud.
Where you not only learn from experts, but also from women who simply “get it.”
This is the place to say the things you can’t say anywhere else.
Because here, you don’t need to explain yourself – we already understand.
And the best part? You don’t have to do this by yourself anymore.

All of this is here for you as well
You don’t have to carry this weight alone anymore.
The loneliness, the constant explaining, the guilt of canceling plans. It doesn’t have to define you.
Instead, imagine…
✨ Feeling calmer and more at peace in your own body.
✨ Waking up knowing there are women who truly get it and who are on your side.
✨ Finding confidence again, setting boundaries without shame, and feeling that spark of life slowly return.
All of this is here for you as well – inside The Spoonies Community.
Say goodbye to…
🙅 Doing everything by yourself
🙅 The insecurities of not being understood, not being seen
🙅 Carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders with nobody to lean on

What others say about The Spoonies Community
This is for you when…
✅ …. you know that a better life (also wíth chronic illness) is possible. You just don’t know where to start?
✅ … you’re tired of being dependent on others or drowning in self-doubt, and you’re ready to reclaim your voice.
✅ … you feel the fear, but you’re ready to face it and take small steps forward. Together.
✅ … you are craving a safe space where no question is too much and people truly understand what you are going through
This is NOT for you when…
❌ …. you are don’t respect other people’s journeys or experiences.
❌ … you’re not open to broadening your perspective or trying new approaches to living with chronic illness.
❌ … “No” is your default answer, and you’re unwilling to even try shifting it into a “maybe” or an “okay, I’ll give this a go.”
This is why The Spoonies Community Membership hits differently
Most memberships or support groups stop at surface-level advice. This is not that.
The Spoonies Community is built on personal approach and safety first, something most communities simply don’t protect. Here, you’re not just another member in a Facebook group. You’re part of an intimate, trusted circle where you’re seen, heard, and understood exactly as you are.
With me, you’ll get honesty and transparency, even when it’s uncomfortable, because that’s where real growth happens. And you’ll also feel love, care, and the deep reassurance that nothing you bring is “too much” or “too weird.”
This isn’t theory. I’ve lived this. I know what it’s like to feel so lonely you don’t dare to ask your real questions out loud. It’s the whole reason why this community exists, so you never have to feel that way again.
And then, add to that our Spoonies Learn masterclasses: sessions from experts that usually cost €200+, now included in your membership at a fraction of the price.
💡 A safe, personal community + expert knowledge = the golden combination you won’t find anywhere else.
Frequently Asked Questions
What illness/disease/disorder falls under the “chronic illness umbrella”?
All the chronic illnesses that are limiting you in a way that other healthy people are not facing.
This can be anything from Chronic Pain to Long Covid to Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) to Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) to you name it!
Are you not sure if this is something for you or if you fall under the category of being a “spoonie”? Why don’t you send me a WhatsApp and we can talk about it!
When do we start with the Spoonies Community Membership?
The doors will open every first 5 days of the quarter. That’s when you can sign up, then we will schedule an appointment straight away and then you are all set! But put yourself on the waiting list already, so you won’t miss out!
I’m scared I don’t have enough energy/”spoons” for this membership
Babe, you’re not alone! We all deal with fewer spoons and lower energy levels (myself included). And that is exactly why this community is the perfect place for you.
It offers you all the space to show up in your joggers, whilst in bed, only use the sound if the light of your laptop is too much, etc. You show up, just as you are.
There’s no need to waste energy on “looking your best self”. And if you truly are unable to join in, there’s always a recording of the webinars available for you to watch back in your own time.
I don’t dare to open up or being vulnerable.
Imagine what it’s like to finally find that group of people you have been looking for. The group of people who all deal with their own sh*t and illnesses. They will understand you, WE will understand you. And not only understand: we can give advice and support. Let us be your personal cheerleader, through thick and thin!
Also: this is exactly the reason we start with a small group: to get to know each other already, so you don’t have to feel overwhelmed by the bigger community. We teach you how to share your vulnerable story and make sure we hold space for you.
And last but not least; you will have access to the best therapists and experts, who are able to help you, so I’d grab that opportunity with both hands!
Why does this community cost money?
I understand your question. My top priority and focus is creating & safeguarding this safe space within the community. My aim is for you to make potential friendships and not having to throw your personal problems into a random Facebook group. Besides that, we work with guest speakers, experts and others as well. We are also continuously improving the course and community, for you to enjoy all up-to-date information. So to guarantee your safety, privacy and keep the group closed for people who are not dealing with chronic illnesses, I ask for a contribution.
Do you do 1:1 coaching sessions?
Yes, I also offer 1:1 coaching sessions, outside of this community. You can check out more info here.
I strongly believe in the power of a community: we can all learn from each other’s situations, questions and answers. During the webinars and masterclasses there is more than enough space to ask your questions: we always have room for a Q&A.
I’m not entirely sure if it’s my cup of tea. How will I know for sure?
Well, you never know if you don’t give it a try!
Why don’t you send me a WhatsApp message to connect so we can have a chat and you can share your doubts or questions with me?
I’m not entirely sure if “now” is the right moment?
You’ve been searching for such a long time already and you can remain this way for a lot longer (trust me, I’ve been there!). There is a possibility to start this program in 3 months from now, but from where I stand, that’s a waste of 3 months.
3 months in which you could’ve grown so much already: in confidence, with tools & new skills, with knowledge, and who knows: maybe you’ve reached a point that you can actually do a fun activity again for an hour/week?
Also, the prices will go up in the future as well, you’ve got the best deal available for you right now. Why not give it a try?
How do I get in touch with the others within the community?
Once you’ve signed up, we will start! You will receive an email with all the information & access. You will be added to our private Telegram group. This is where you can ask all your questions and connect with everyone who is a member of the community.
Why is it called the Spoonies community?
Check out the homepage for more info on why it is called the Spoonies Community!
Congratulations,
you made it to the end of this page!
Honestly, well done if you made it all the way to here. That usually means that you are interested or at least I’ve managed to grab your attention.
You now have 2 choices:
- You do nothing and things remain the way they are. You continue your search by yourself, continue to get frustrated by the people around you who don’t understand or make painful comments to you (often not intended). The insecurity remains and you continue to try to make the best out of a desperate situation.
- You take a leap of faith, listen to that gut-feeling that you want and need a change, and you sign up. You will get into a community of like minded people, have an opportunity to ask every question under the sun (nothing being weird or “too much”), and join webinars/masterclasses that will provide you with new tools and skills to become the best version of yourself. Yes, with your chronic illnesses still there (I won’t make promises I can’t keep), but with a spark in your eyes and renewed confidence, that you’ve lost along the way.
